This is the directory for my music resource database, which I maintain and share as a service to the music community.  Categories are defined by the players' primary instruments, with their other instruments listed as a separate field within the records.  You'll see what I mean.  It's a bit awkward, because there might be a perfectly good sound technician who's also a bass guitarist, which is what you're really looking for, or something like that.  However, the only other option was to load the whole database as one file.  If I had done that, you'd be able to just key in a search phrase like "electric bass guitar," and come up with each and every person I know who plays that instrument, whether it is his or her primary instrument or not.  The whole file would take years and cost thousands of lives to load, though.  On balance, I think the current organization is a good start.  Any suggestions for improvement will be appreciated.
